The experience

What to expect

La Plantation is a working social and responsible agrotourism farm in Kampot’s pepper-growing region. A guide leads visitors through the vines and explains cultivation, harvest and processing before a tasting that reveals the differences among green, black, red and white Kampot pepper.

The farm is open every day from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last visit at 4:00 PM, and entry is free. From April through October, visitors can arrive without reserving a tour slot; cooking classes require at least 24 hours’ notice. The site also has a tropical garden, restored Khmer houses, a restaurant and a spice shop.
