The experience

What to expect

GTVC currently runs daily crossings from Sihanoukville Tourism Pier to Koh Rong at 8:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The scheduled journey takes about 45 minutes, with fares from US$17 one way or US$30 return for an adult. Other licensed operators also serve the island.

Choose the landing closest to your accommodation, confirm the return boat before leaving the mainland and allow extra time in rough weather. Bring reef-safe sun protection, refillable water and cash, and take waste away from quieter beaches. Ferry schedules and sea conditions can change, so reconfirm on the travel day.
