What to expect
Cycle quiet Mekong-island lanes to weaving homes, pagodas and farmland on Koh Dach, commonly called Silk Island.
Use the local ferry, follow low-traffic roads and visit workshops that explicitly welcome guests. Ask before entering homes or photographing weavers, and buy directly when provenance and price are clear.
