The experience

What to expect

After a pottery-wheel demonstration, work with local clay to shape several pieces with support from a Khmer ceramics artist. Select your favorite piece and add traditional Cambodian Kbach ornament using carving tools. The beginner-friendly class is open to adults and children aged three and older.

Classes run daily at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM and cost US$25 per person. Materials, instruction, water, taxes, a workshop visit and Cambodian Potter Diploma are included. One chosen piece is normally fired for later collection; confirm the current firing and pickup time when booking, especially if leaving Siem Reap soon.
