The experience

What to expect

Da Ta Verk is one of three community protected areas in Chhean Mukh Commune, Tbeng Meanchey District, developing ecotourism around Phnom Tbaeng Natural Heritage Park. The community is improving visitor infrastructure and guiding so travellers can experience forest, mountain scenery and local conservation work through routes confirmed directly with the community.

The Da Ta Verk project is supported by community members, the Phnom Tbaeng Natural Heritage Park office, provincial environment and tourism departments, WCS Cambodia and the UNDP GEF Small Grants Programme. Planned visitor facilities include stairs, handrails, rest areas, toilets, a community office and service kitchen. As this is an emerging destination, confirm the exact trail, guide, food, transport, safety conditions and price before travel.
