What to expect
Visit the Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center to explore a unique collection of images, films, and sound recordings documenting Cambodia's history and culture. Founded by filmmaker Rithy Panh, the center preserves audiovisual memory while making this heritage accessible to the public.
Use the center's archive resources to discover historical footage, documentaries, oral histories, music, and photography. The visit can be self-paced, making it easy to focus on the periods and subjects that interest you most.
Public archive access is free. Current opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00, and Saturday, 14:00–18:00. The center is at #64 Street 200 in Phnom Penh. Confirm holiday closures before visiting.
