What to expect
On 27 September 2026, Siem Reap hosts Cambodia’s national World Tourism Day celebration. A public procession is scheduled to leave central Siem Reap at around 5:00 PM and finish at the Royal Independence Gardens, followed by a stage programme.
The celebration features traditional dance and music, provincial food and craft displays, and participation by hotels, tour operators and community-tourism groups. Admission is free, and visitors can watch along the procession route or gather at the Royal Independence Gardens.
