Smile of Angkor: Grand Apsara Show
A cast of dancers, acrobats and martial artists brings Khmer history, mythology and village life to the Angkor COEX stage in Siem Reap.
What to expect
Smile of Angkor is a 70-minute stage production performed at Angkor COEX in Siem Reap. A cast of up to 104 dancers, acrobats and martial artists uses classical dance, projection, lighting and large-scale scenery to tell stories from Khmer history and mythology.
The show moves through the Churning of the Sea of Milk, the rise of the Khmer Empire, Apsara dance, martial arts, village life and a finale inspired by the stone faces of Bayon. Doors and the optional buffet open around 6:00 PM; the performance runs from 7:15 PM to about 8:25 PM. Advance booking is recommended.
